Investment Centre Limited (ICL) was incorporated in July 1999 as a subsidiary of the erstwhile Broad Bank of Nigeria Limited (that was acquired by Union Bank of Nigeria Plc in December 2005).
The Company then was a major provider of outsourced services/support staff like Drivers, etc, to Banks, I... read morensurance companies and other organizations while also engaging in other business/investment activities.
Over the years the Company has been restructured and refocused with its ownership base expanded while the share capital has also been increased to enable the Company undertake capital market businesses in stockbroking and financial services like portfolio/wealth management, Investment Advisory Services, etc. Presently, the Company’s paid up share capital is over N358million and plans are underway to increase same to over N1Billion (N1,000,000,000.00).
Investment Centre Limited is both licensed by the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) and Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) as Stockbroker/Dealer based on which it commenced trading on the floor of the Nigeria+n Stock Exchange on the 2nd May 2006.
With its Head office located on the 5th floor of St. Peter’s House, 3 Ajele Street, Lagos in the Central Business District of Lagos Island, the Company has offices in major cities in Nigeria.
