Due to the growing pro-industry policies of the African nations, the Assudamal group recognized the importance of developing its own manufacturing division within the continent. To meet this need, A&P Foods began manufacturing biscuits in 2002 operating from Ikeja, Lagos.
Research of the bis... read morecuit industry at the time revealed that the market was awash with poor quality biscuits. The group saw the possibility of producing better products and ran with it.
Today, within a few years, the product range has grown from Biscuits to Confectioneries (Hard Boiled Sweets, Lollipops, Chewing / Bubble Gum, Soft Chocolates) Vitamin C drinks and Health Products operating out of 2 production facilities exceeding 350,000 sq ft. All these are manufactured to high quality standards under the umbrella brand name of Haansbro.
