About African Culture And Tourism Image Making (ACTIM)
African Culture and Tourism Image Making (ACTIM) Foundation is a registered Non-governmental Organization essentially committed to resuscitating, regenerating, promoting and advancing the tourism and cultural values of the African continent as a way of redefining, and re-conceptualizing the image of the continent to the rest of the world, and save it from the imminent disgrace and extinction.
As universally believed, culture is the bedrock upon which a nation or a race is defined and identified. A nation or continent, therefore whose cultural values and the basis of her tourist attraction for economic, viability, gradually sinks into the sand of extinction, will soon cease to enjoy universal respect, admiration and uniqueness. The predominant question is; what happens to African traditional games? The irresistible passion for foreign games such as European football etc, is quiet alarming and pose a serious challenge to our culture and traditional games. Should we watch our children drift away from the path of their birth to that of slavery and enslavement? This is indeed a disheartening and disappointing national issue.
