Stacks Monitor at American University of Nigeria (AUN)

This position of Stacks Monitor is responsible for supervising the general maintenance of order and cleanliness of the Library’s resources in the Stacks and in the other areas of the Library. The duties shall include but not limited to the security of Library items as well as the enforcement of Library’s Code of Conduct in accordance with the policies and procedures of the American University of Nigeria.

Requirements for the position:

• A Diploma in Library Science preferably with work experience in Library setting.
• Experience working with the Library of Congress System of Classification is preferred.
• Technological familiarity with computers is desired.
• Ability to interact with the public effectively and courteously
• Ability to work in a changing, progressive environment
