Revenue Accountant at Greener Places Services (GPS)

Job Summary

• Ensures revenue transactions are accurately recorded
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of sales revenue by reconciling the sales proceeds
• with bank collection accounts
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports showing trends, patterns, and variances and
• providing necessary explanations
• Accounting for the various income stream and reconciling the various revenue channels for accuracy
• Reconciles revenue accounts and performs an analytical review to ensure the financial accuracy of the
• sales data.
• Preparation of bank reconciliation reports ensuring revenue is captured
• Enhances processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely accounting reporting and analysis.
• Maintains records of the company’s revenue by providing adequate information to Management and the
• company’s accountant for the preparation of Management and statutory report
• Receives, records and reconciles revenue payments.
• Update and monitor daily cash flow through reconciliation processes and reporting to Management
• Ensure all payments are identified and routed to the appropriate channels of the company
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Work to improve the process and procedures for accounting for revenue.

Requirements
The successful candidate must:

• Have a Degree in Accounting. Professional membership and a Master’s degree in accounting or a business-related field will be an advantage.
• Be experienced in Accounts payable, receivables, and bank reconciliation.
• Strong Analytical Skills.
• Possess interpersonal.
