    Request for Proposal (RFP) –Consultancy Service to implement Vocational Skills Acquisition and Economic Empowerment Programme in Adamawa and Sokoto State

    Purpose:
    The general purpose of the project is to build the entrepreneurial capacity and improve the livelihood of young women and girls left vulnerable by Sexual and Gender Based Violence and other Harmful practices.
    The aim is to achieve this through investment in developing life and business skills that will enable beneficiaries to engage in meaningful activities of economic value and job creation.
    Specific Activities:

    • Development and delivery of tailored, end-to-end professional training on various vocational skills;
    • Procurement and provision of start-up kits to established cooperatives;
    • Support beneficiaries to establish cooperatives;
    • Provide opportunities for apprenticeships for beneficiaries;
    • Business skills training that takes into account the context of Adamawa and Sokoto State and its LGAs; and
    • Provide mentoring to established cooperatives to ensure effective management of businesses.

    Project Objectives:

    • Build capacity of beneficiaries to establish small-scale businesses.
    • To promote self-reliance among beneficiaries.
    • To create self-employment and apprenticeships for beneficiaries.
    • To promote entrepreneurship skills

    Reporting

    • The selected Consultant must demonstrate the capacity to provide an inception, interim and final project report, which details the milestones achieved in the implementation of the project,
    • including challenges, lessons and recommendations for improvement. The timeline for the submission of the reports will be set out in the engagement contract given to the successful consultant.
    • The successful Consultant must demonstrate the capacity to develop important information such as training guides and any other material that will be used to support the delivery of the project
    • Timesheets will be presented to the Programme Manager for their endorsement sign-off in respect to Level of Effort and Delivery of work.

    • Proposal with a detailed budget. The proposal must include:
    • Profile of Consultant with relevant work experience
    • Tax Identification Number
    • Certificate of Incorporation – Corporate Affairs Commission
    • Two reference letters from contracts executed

    All documents should be sent in Microsoft Word or PDF formats to procurement@neemfoundation.org.ng

    Interested parties (organisations only) should submit a comprehensive proposal and budget of no longer than 15 pages (including budget, company profile and experience, references, certificate of incorporation, CVs, etc..)
