    Product Manager Intern

    Overview of Opportunity

    • Product Management Intern who’s worked in software product management for at least 1-2 years. While not a criterion, having some technical knowledge of software development (this means you’ve written code or built software as a hobby) is a plus.
    • A great candidate should have worked on the development of a fintech SaaS product. You must be able to conduct product research, understand user pain points and proffer product solutions.

    Who You Are:

    • 1- 2 years of experience in software product development, preferably in the financial technology industry, with proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
    • Experience with developing and implementing product strategies based on market research, customer feedback, and industry trends.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to use to inform product development sprints, track progress, and adjust course as needed.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and priorities features.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Familiar with Agile software development methodologies and product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Linear.
    • Knowledge of financial products and services, such as banking, payments, lending, or investing.
    • Passion for financial technology and eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.

    What You’ll Be Responsible For:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and develop product roadmaps.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform product strategy.
    • Assist in the planning and execution of product development sprints, ensuring that the team is meeting product requirements deadlines.
    • Help manage the product backlog, including prioritization and grooming of user stories.
    • Work with the development team to ensure that product features are built to meet specifications and delivered on time.
    • Assist in the creation of product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and marketing materials.
    • Monitor key product metrics and use data to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements and new features.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to ensure that our products remain competitive and meet markets demands.
    • Provide support to product team as needed, including conducting user testing, participating in sales call and customer demos, and performing other related tasks.
