    The Medical Sales Representative job is an exciting job where an individual will work in close collaboration with Medical Doctors, Pharmacists and key opinion leaders to ensure achievement of sales objectives and development of the company’s market potential within defined territory (geographic coverage area) through the implementing of company’s sales strategy.

    JOB LOCATION

    All state capital of the federation and FCT-Abuja. Candidate can choose his/her preferred location.

    JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

    The Medical Sales Representative will be responsible for:

    • Promoting & generating demand for company’s pharmaceutical products and selling the products by using superior product knowledge to favourably influence healthcare professionals’ (Doctors/Pharmacists) prescribing and buying habits.
    • Building effective profitable business relationships with customers, updating customers’ database on CRM app, providing customers with information on our products and ensuring consistent follow up to improve business relationship, yield increased patronage and ensure sales growth and market share growth.
    • rganising product-promoting meetings (clinical presentation) with healthcare professionals (Doctors/Pharmacists) and follow up to increase prescription generation, brand penetration and to maximize assigned territory’s potential.

    WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

    • External: Company clients i.e. Doctors, Pharmacists in hospitals and retail Pharmacies.

    QUALIFICATION & SKILL SET

    Academic Qualification

    • To be successful in this role, we require you to have a University Degree (Bachelor´s Degree) in Pharmacy, Pharmacology or Basic Medical sciences course like Physiology or Biochemistry.
    • You need to have NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

    Skill Set & Other Requirements

    To be effective in this role, we need you to:

    • Be friendly, creative and have good business acumen.
    • Be trainable, have fast learning skills, enviable organizational skills.
    • Have high energy level, be self-driven and have an inner motivation to succeed.
    • Proactive attitude, good communication and presentation skills.
    • Willing to travel around your chosen territory (geographical coverage area).

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    0-2 years experience as a Medical sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry.

    Applicants with at least 2 years experience as a medical sales representative in a pharmaceutical company selling ethical products can apply as Senior Medical Sales Representative.
