Health Care Assistant/Support Worker

Job Description

• Serving meals and helping to feed patients.
• Helping people to move around(Mobility).
• Assisting with Oral Medication.
• Toileting.
• Changing of Position
• Making beds.
• Talking to patients and making them comfortable.
• Hands on Assitance
• Monitoring patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight, etc.

Requirements

There are no set entry requirements to become a healthcare assistant. Once you have your SSCE and you can read, write and speak, you are qualified to apply. Youe are expected to fill the application form through MMA Care Services website (www.mmacareservices.com). If you pass the interview, you would be trained on the rudiments of care, and you can advance from there.
