    Head of Sales

    Our Client in the Microfinance Industry requires a Head of Sales to join their team.

    Summary:

    We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Head of Sales to join our sales team! As the Head of Sales, you will mainly be responsible for developing and implementing new marketing strategies and leading our sales team by example.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and drive execution of strategic sales & marketing and relationship management.
    • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual, quarterly and monthly sales target for client acquisition.
    • Create new business opportunities that will boost Company revenue; presenting the product clearly and convincingly to stakeholders, overcoming objections and closing sales.
    • Develop new strategies, tactics, and plans for future growth of company’s Customer database.
    • Actively participate in key trade & business associations to generate business leads and increase the company’s product visibility.
    • Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
    • Assists in the development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI  for the sales team.
    • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
    • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
    • Develop and drive the strategy for the creation of a low-risk portfolio.
    • Develop and manage the budget for the department.
    • Provide/present formal report of activities and achievements of the department monthly to the CEO.
    • Provide direction and clarify responsibilities for team members.
    • Execute winning sales and business development strategies for the business in order to drive sales and boost revenue.
    • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

    REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES 

    • First Degree in relevant discipline with 5+ years’ experience in a similar position in a Microfinance Bank
    • Ability to think strategically and creatively with an innovative mindset that is constantly looking for ways to improve things.
    • Highly analytical, a self-starter, results-oriented and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment
    • Demonstrate evidence of growing balance sheet size of an organization, marketing exploits and target driven
    • Ability to evolve strategies for improved turnover
    • Strong presentation, negotiation and computer skills.
    • Strong Credit analysis skills, credit packaging, monitoring, and relationship management
    • Proven ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
