The Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN) is an organization that is dedicated to improving the socio-economic conditions of women and young girls by working with national and international partners to develop sustainable solutions to underlying factors of female gender marginalization, as well as its consequences. FOMWAN was established over thirty-five years ago and since then, has developed into an international organization with presence in all 36 States of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, as well as West African Countries and Western Europe.

As part of its ongoing organizational transformation activities, FOMWAN is strengthening its human capacity and requires a Head of Monitoring and Evaluationt at its National Secretariat. The successful candidates will have the following:

Head of Monitoring and Evaluation

• ·  First Degree in a quantitative discipline (preferably in Social Science, Economics, or Statistics)

• ·  At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation

• ·  Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies both quantitative & qualitative and proven ability to

  design monitoring instrumentation tools

• ·  Extensive knowledge in experimental program evaluation designs

• ·  Excellent coordination and communication skills gained through experience in the supervision

  of field staff

• ·  Broad experience in the design and implementation of capacity building activities in M&E

• ·  High level of proficiency in Windows Excel and/ or Statistical Software (SPSS, STATA)

• ·  Advanced skills in data analysis presentation and report writing

• ·  Excellent analytical skills combined with a proactive, energetic approach to problem solving
