    Field Researchers

    Job Description:

    • Will report directly  with the Field Team Lead while working closely with the Project Associate, Program Manager, and other team members to understand the project goals and to meet expectations.

    • Plan and organise field activities with the project team which includes training and capacity building and outreaches.

    • Carry out in-depth field research on small businesses and their way of operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

    • Recruit participants for the E-bookkeeping project

    • Contribute to information-sharing and data management systems by collecting, recording, and analysing data.

    • Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibilities as and when needed.

    • Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the organisation, notably through the application of the organisation’s Code of Conduct.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Social Work, International Development/Relations, Public Administration or other relevant fields of study.

    • Two years’ experience in program design and implementation, in a similar role, will be an added advantage.

    • Proficiency in local languages preferably Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and English languages is a must.

    • Have excellent oral and written expression skills in English.

    • Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilisation projects and stakeholder engagement.

    • Good knowledge and understanding of the environment (Lagos) and the people, including culture.

    • Ability to exercise sound judgement, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently.

    • High level of computer literacy.

    • Demonstrate willingness to work in a team.

    • Applicants must reside in Lagos within areas close to any of the following areas; Alimosho, Idumota, Ladipo, Trade fair, Alaba, Jakara, Arena and Oshodi

    • Be confident and friendly.

    Total remuneration of N100,0000- which will be tied to weekly deliverables (recruiting an average of 50 participants per week)

    Transportation and communication stipends will be provided.

    Three weeks

    Physical as it involves collection of data from business owners physically.
