    Facility Management

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    A handy and experienced Facility Manager to coordinate and direct the running and maintenance of our estate facilities. He/she will be responsible for conducting property inspections, developing/maintaining facilities policies and procedures, negotiating with contractors, overseeing staff safety, planning and improving workspaces, inspecting safety equipments, overseeing renovations, ensuring facilities are compliant with regulations and create a comfortable environment for clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the day to day running of all affairs of the estate.
    • Supervising ongoing projects within the estate.
    • Maintaining property and technical infrastructure.
    • Maximizing equipment life span.
    • Inspect buildings structures to determine the need for repairs and renovations.
    • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
    • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
    • Handle insurance plans and service contracts.
    • Keep financial and non-financial records.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulations.
    • Develop and implement working procedures and standards for all premises and estates staff.
    • Prepare and maintain work/inspection and testing schedules; standard operating procedures for all maintenance works, inspection and testing of plant, equipment, tools, facilities, vehicles etc.
    • Ensure all estates and facilities paperwork is kept secure and up to date.
    • Develop and manage an organized purchasing system for all estate and facilities supplies and services.
    • Maintain stock records of all equipment and tools used with facilities management.
    • Procure goods and services in relation to estates and facilities functions across the sites.

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Degree in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field.
    • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
    • Project management experience.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
    • Must have not less than 5 years’ experience in facility management.
    • Must have a Technical and operational experience in estate management and good understanding of the facility management organizational structure.
    • Must be computer literate and have adequate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

    • Self-motivated and innovative
