ESG Compliance and Legal Manager at a Foremost Consulting Company

Role Description The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Internal Control Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing environmental, social, and corporate governance policies as well as internal operational processes. Handle legal tasks arise and support the internal units.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate ESG initiatives and compliance with law and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor company ESMS (Environmental and Social Management System), which will be implemented in all business areas, across all operational levels.
• Support Management in driving the education, communication, training, and implementation of the ESMS across the company in all operational areas, including its associated business activities, sub-contractors, and supply chains, where relevant.
• Work with various business units to identify E&S related risks and develop appropriate strategies to address the risks and their potential impacts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety procedures and emergency response plan.
• Maintain and update an accidents/incidents register.
• Report to stakeholders on any accidents/incidents.
• Overall management of ESG implementation and compliance.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor of Laws.
• 6 years of experience in legal and ESG.
• Ethics and Integrity.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.
