    Enterprise Risk Management Officer

    Job Summary

    • The ERM Officer will support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the enterprise risk management framework across the organization.
    • The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting within a financial services environment.
    • Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Head, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring enterprise-wide risks, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
    • Support the development and implementation of risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
    • Prepare risk reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key risk exposures and mitigation actions.
    • Conduct risk assessments, scenario analysis, and stress testing to evaluate potential impacts on the business.
    • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and proactive risk mitigation.
    • Support the maintenance of the risk register and follow up on risk mitigation action plans.
    • Assist in the coordination of risk awareness and training programs across the organization.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate risk management into business processes and decision-making.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
    • 2–5 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Analysis, Compliance, or related field, preferably in financial services or capital markets.
    • Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and risk reporting tools.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
