Director – Government & Regulatory Affairs at Ascentech Services Limited

We are a group of companies with diverse operations across Agric Processing, Food Processing, Mining, and Forestry. We’re seeking highly respected and well-connected individuals to serve as Directors – Government & Regulatory Affairs. These leaders will act as strategic liaisons between our companies and key government agencies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements while providing high-level insight to guide business direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the company at top-level government meetings and regulatory engagements
• Maintain strong relationships with MDAs, ministries, and parastatals in Lagos and Abuja
• Monitor and advise on policy changes, government incentives, and regulatory frameworks
• Report directly to the Chairman and Director (W/A) Business Operations
• Provide sector-specific insight and governance based on deep industry experience

Ideal Profile:

• Age: 48–55 years
• Retired senior civil servant (GL 15+) or executive in a reputable private-sector organization
• Well-known and highly connected within government circles in Lagos and Abuja
• Sector experience in Agric, Mining, Food Processing, or Forestry
• Highly articulate, polished, and presentable with strong communication skills
• Non-political: No political affiliations or party background
