    Digital Associate

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a hands-on, hyper-creative digital marketer to join our marketing team.

    Responsibilities

    • Content Creation: creation and implementation of digital content. You will support the marketing manager by creating a wide variety of content - blogs, e-books, whitepapers, podcasts, videos, and webinars.
    • Execute digital marketing campaigns by strategising content, creating landing pages, writing website content, articles/blogs and monitoring the results of the campaign.
    • SEO: write with a conversational style but ensure content is optimized for search and in line with the keywords we are targeting.
    • Writing: write both short-form and long-form copy for offline and online channels. You'll have a conversational style and understand how good copy can be used to attract, convert, delight, and retain our audience.
    • Create reports to measure the success of the company’s digital marketing initiatives.
    • Research the latest trends in search engine optimisation, social media and content marketing.
    • Build the company’s online presence through blogging, content/marketing strategy, social media management and email marketing.
    • Create case studies, presentations, or internal sales support materials for the sales team.
    • Sell through content-driven campaigns, ensuring our quarterly revenue goals are met.
    • Design: work with a designer to ensure content is on-brand.

    Day to Day Tasks:

    • Plan a content calendar at least 1.5 months in advance.
    • Create content (copy) according to the content calendar, liaising with the graphics designer.
    • Curate social media content timely [Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, & Twitter] and in all formats possible.
    • Adhere all content, visuals and media according to brand guidelines.
    • Create engaging video content (TikTok/reels).
    • Work in association with other digital marketing executives and staff members towards developing and improving the company's digital marketing programs.
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of Socialight’s marketing campaigns.
    • Interact and maintain engagement with the public on all existing channels (FB, Insta, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and so on).
    • Develop requested marketing documentation.
    • Research and analyse data to identify and define the ideal audience for clients.
    • Develop write-ups and other requested marketing scripts.
    • Provide feedback to other supporting teams.
    • Track, monitor and provide comprehensive reports on Socialight’s marketing progress.
    • Creatively map out marketing opportunities for Socialight and her clients.
    • Attend brainstorm sessions and weekly feedback meetings.
    • Stay up-to-date on relevant digital trends (in content and social media upgrades).

    Requirements

    • B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or any relevant field.
    • Experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.
    • Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices.
    • Experience in content strategy and managing social media accounts/pages.
    • Strong copywriting, creative writing and storytelling skills.
    • Strong analytical and project management skills.
    • Track record in producing a wide variety of creative content.
    • Audio and video editing skills would be an advantage.
