Creative Designer at betPawa

betPawa, a customer-obsessed sports betting company for African markets, is looking for a talented Midweight Creative Designer to join the existing Experience Team and to help execute betPawa’s visual identity.

The Role’s Responsibilities

• To manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly while meeting tight deadlines
• To assist conceptualise and execute assets in a variety of formats (such as digital ads, offline newspapers, billboards, buses, merch, etc) which are visually consistent across different markets 
• To create brand templates for the company to make use of (customer service, social media, etc.) 
• To work collaboratively with Content, Product, Marketing and other internal and external stakeholders to help define and deliver creative assets
• To regularly review and analyse competitors’ visuals in an effort to make sure our identity stands out from all the noise 
• To take the initiative to learn new skills as you progress and take on new and challenging projects 
• To push the company towards fresh and exciting ideas, while keeping an african influence in mind

Skills and Experience Needed

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in designing for OOH and large-scale campaigns
• Excellent English communication skills 
• Ability to explore beyond requirements and be willing to challenge assumptions
• Proficiency in using design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong typography and layout skills
• A positive can do attitude, ready to get stuck in
• Experience with photography and/or motion would be a bonus!
