Construction Site Engineer at First Atlantic Constructions and Real Estate Limited

First Atlantic Constructions & Real Estate Limited (FACR) is part of the First Atlantic Industrial Group, which was founded to be part fo the construction arm of the group. FACR mission is to build, maintain and deliver luxurious properties, civil structures for private and commercial purposes.

Our team is currently working on multiple residential properties, therefore, a resident construction site engineer is needed to oversea the delivery of these projects while ensuring the architectural, mechanical, structural and electrical drawings are followed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building, or related field
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
• National/State-issued certification or engineering license
• Considerable experience in a similar position
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
• Proficient in the use of computer aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
• Familiar with scientific analysis software as well as graphics and map creation software
• Proven track record for managing personnel and material resources

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range:

Construction Site Engineer/Level I:  ₦1,800,000 - ₦2,500,000/per year

Construction Site Engineer/Level II:  ₦2,500,000 - ₦3,000,000/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
