    Company Secretariat / Compliance Analyst

    Job Summary

    • The individual will be required will be required to provide support to the Compliance Manager designing and implementing compliance initiatives across the organization as well as support the Company Secretariat in meeting all its governance obligations.

    Responsibilities
    As the Company Secretariat and Compliance Analyst, you would also be responsible for the following:

    • Assisting in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the NGX Group and its subsidiaries are in compliance with all relevant laws, rules code and regulations.
    • ·Supporting in the implementation of approved Compliance Frameworks for NGX Group and subsidiaries.
    • Monitoring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements across all business areas in line with the NGX Group of companies Compliance Management Calendar
    • Performing reviews of organization controls, operating procedures, and compliance with policies and regulations
    • Keeping proper records of work papers on compliance procedures carried out. Follow-up and track recommended corrective actions to ensure closure.
    • Providing timely and accurate Compliance reporting to the Compliance Manager, Group Company Secretary/Head of Compliance as and when required.
    • Carry out other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Compliance Manager, and the Group Company Secretary/Head of Compliance.

    Job Specification
    To successfully deliver these goals, you must have the following relevant experience & qualifications below:

    • B.Sc. or HND in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking and other relevant disciplines.
    • Membership of professional body is an advantage e.g. ICSAN.
    • 1 to 2 years’ post NYSC work experience in a financial sector or Secretarial/ Administrative role.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
