Job Summary
The Communications intern will work to create a positive and engaging experience for CARE’s supporters and followers on all social media channels (Facebook /Instagram/Twitter/TikTok/LinkedIn/YouTube, etc.). The position will help drive thoughtful conversation among CARE social media audiences, coordinating the day-to-day posting of all content, responding to and/or escalating complaints. Through clear and timely communication, this position will help grow and engage CARE’s social media fans and followers to build loyalty and ensure a quality supporter experience. This position will also coordinate CARE’s social media analytics function, providing ongoing reporting on social marketing metrics and related deliverables to inform a responsive strategic approach for all the Country Office social media channels. The job holder will collaborate with CARE Nigeria’s fundraising and advocacy teams to ensure CARE is meeting its audience engagement and growth goals. The individual will monitor social trends, builds online connections for CARE, and is passionate about CARE's mission of saving lives, defeating poverty, and achieving social justice.
