Cloud and On-Premise Infrastructure Personnel at IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the design, engineering, and support of public and private cloud infrastructure services, including mission-critical infrastructure required to support enterprise operations. The role includes responsibility for delivery of cloud-based platforms to enable greater agility with the fulfillment of company growth initiatives.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute and support IT cloud strategy to enable greater agility with fulfillment of infrastructure services.
• Provides technical support, including planning, installation, on-going management/monitoring and troubleshooting on Tucana platform.
• Actively involved in project deployments, infrastructure/platform support.
• Installing, configuring, and managing physical and virtual servers.
• Contribute to the team that supports all IPI GROUP IT departments by providing common platform components such as service frameworks, logging, messaging, monitoring, and deployment pipeline automation.
• Support and maintain a delivery platform that provides the stability, scalability and availability demands of the business through infrastructure lifecycle, improvement, and standardization strategies.
• Travel when appropriate to various vendor partners to participate in onsite engineering and design reviews.
• Support enterprise architects and portfolio managers in developing technology roadmaps, including effectively evaluating products and technology to support recommendations to the business including infrastructure lifecycle, improvement, and standardization strategies.
• Responsible for internal infrastructure projects which may require cross departmental coordination to achieve goals.

Qualifications and skills

• A minimum of 2-6 years’ experience in technical architecture roles in complex business environments.
• Degree qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• An analytical mind.
• Commercial and business awareness.
