    We are a leading multinational telecommunications organization with Headquarters in Lagos Nigeria requiring a number of well experienced candidates to fill the vacant positions below.

    Job Description

    Our company is one of the leading names in global Telecommunications in Africa. With over 24 years of establishment in the GSM & HQ in Lagos with over 1000 employees they are now seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer. The purpose of this role is to support the Managing director in the development and implementation of the Foundation’s strategic plans and policies, and to provide leadership and direction to the Team and other technical staff.
    You should have good experience in telecommunication systems and networks such as wireless, security & surveillance systems & RF radio systems & IT network infrastructure.

    • Continuous improvement program of company policy and procedures.
    • Timely and accurate forecasts of the future performance of the Company.

    Job Objective

    • Full delegated authority to act on behalf of the Executive Director in her absence; 
    • Responsible for the development and execution of the Foundation's technical strategy; 
    • Provides leadership and direction for technical staff, setting an effective agenda and ensuring performance goals are met and set; 
    • Serves as a mentor, coach and guide to senior staff, particularly with regards to the needs of the Employee or Client; 
    • Provides guidance, as requested by the Managing Director, , business development and partnership activities as well as marketing. 
    • Other duties as requested by the Managing Director.

    Key Responsibilities. 

    • Identifying, developing, and introducing new business development products to meet the requirements of the evolving Telecom sector;
    • Preparing business reports, work plans and budgets.
    • Participating in internal and external meetings related to Telecom activities.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company.
    • Manage, motivate, develops the Atlas Team.
    • Manage resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the company’s objectives.
    • Chair Management Team meetings.
    • Take a leadership role in establishing or developing the company’s culture and values.
    • Ensure that there is a succession plan in place.

    Requirements:

    • Strong leadership skills
    • Focused on training of subordinates
    • Strong financial and business acumen and experience
    • Customer focused
    • Nigerian market experience

    Qualifications / Experience:

    • Degree in business, engineering, finance or a science
    • Minimum of 10 years of management experience
    • Telecom Industry experience – Good knowledge
    • Must have experience from telecommunication systems and networks such as tetra, wireless, security & surveillance systems & RF radio systems & IT networks.
