Job Summary

• The aim for a position and function is to improve value in all areas of the business by managing and improving the Group’s liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities by buying  and selling shares on behalf of the company and selected clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide research report and stock recommendations
• Capital market Issues- listing, delisting, placing of company shares on floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange
• Accurately evaluating financial reports.
• Managing ccompany’s investment portfolios.
• Staying abreast with the latest financial news.
• Providing regular updates to company regarding the status of their investment portfolios
• Providing accurate investment advice.
• Ensure maximum profitability while trading the stocks with minimal errors.
• Identify buying powers and risk tolerance level for company/HNI
• Provide leadership to team members
• Manage and trade on company’s account

Requirements

• B.Sc in Accounting or other relevant Degree.
• Professional qualifications (Associate Chartered Stockbroker) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Enthusiasm and commitment are essential to complete activities.
• Experience in Stockbroking Operations
• SEC Sponsored Individual will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Fixed Income will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Investment and equity portfolio Management
• Good Knowledge of Capital Market
• Self-motivated, excellent attention to details and enjoys working in a team
• Enthusiasm and commitment are essential to complete activities
