About the Role

• We are seeking a passionate and creative Catering and Culinary Graduate to join our dynamic food service team.
• The ideal candidate will assist in menu planning, food preparation, and event catering while learning the operational and creative aspects of professional culinary management.

Key Responsibilities

• Researching and developing new menu items, flavors, and products
• Improving, enhancing and monitoring existing products
• Gathering customer insights through surveys, online research, food bloggers, and other sources
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity
• New recipes that can intrigue new customers
• Ideas for current product improvement
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.
  • Participate in inventory management and procurement of kitchen supplies.
  • Uphold hygiene, safety, and quality standards in all food handling processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Catering, Culinary Arts, Food Science and Technology, or Hospitality Management.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)for documentation, costing, and reporting.
• Strong communication skillsfor effective teamwork and client interaction.
• Basic knowledge of food costing and budgeting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
