Summary of Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of local and global capital markets
• Researching and analyzing all available company reports and market information to identify investment opportunities
• Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios.
• Compile and write periodic (weekly, monthly and quarterly) company and market reports
• Assist the sales team in the compilation and publication of Daily Market Update, weekly stock recommendation, and publication of Companies results amongst others.
• Assist in creating and managing client feedback programs to ensure best value delivery
• Assist in preparing presentations for investors’ education and participate in sales meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and related guidelines where needed
• A team player, strong work discipline, organized, and willing to learn and impact knowledge on others.

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related fields.
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers or related body is an added advantage
• Minimum 4 years work experience in stockbroking, banking or investment/related firm.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• High numerical and statistical skills
• Deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility, accuracy, and an ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of statistical packages and databases
• Knowledge of MS Office and tools with ability to develop financial valuation models
• Website administrator skills.
