    Business Development Manager

    One of the leading companies in the Travel and Tours Industry in Lagos urgently requires a Business Development Manager.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Prospecting for new clients and soliciting for transactions.
    • Marketing the company’s travel and tours services to High Net Worth Individuals as well as Corporate Clients, Agents, Families, Educational bodies, Government Agencies, Religious Bodies and Associations e.t.c.
    • Follow up on payments for transactions before and after services.
    • Identify and cultivate new travel agencies or agents that can help to cost- effectively grow product distribution.
    • Come up with innovative ideas for winning new clients and acquiring new businesses
    • Liaise with Agents to solve client problems, partner with Agents on sales and marketing, and keep Agents updated about the company’s product offerings.
    • Analyze sales reports for key trends and provide Weekly Sales/Marketing Updates on activities and opportunities.
    • Ensure continuous and repeated businesses deals from Agents and Direct Clients, and effective relationship management of both the old and new clients

    Job Qualifications & Attributes

    • A good first degree from a reputable educational institution
    • Possession of a higher degree and/or relevant professional qualifications in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Travel and Tours industry
    • Have a good understanding of the sales process, including commission structures, marketing plans and incentives
    • Must be proactive, creative and self-motivated, with strong networking/strategic marketing skills
    • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to Agents and other Prospects
