Description: Art firm in Lagos seeking an Art History & Art Conservation intern to assist with the documentation, archiving, and storage of historical objects at a site in Lagos, Nigeria. Successful applicants will work under the supervision of a Research Fellow, and be responsible for archiving, documenting, and recording found objects.
Responsibilities:
Moving, cleaning, photographing and indexing objects
Assisting with the creation of a catalog of objects
Responding to email/Whatsapp communications in a timely manner
Skills/Requirements:
Background in Art History, History, or a related field
Must be physically fit, and able to lift up to 20kg
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Integrity and working to international research standards
Willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
