Engineering Positions at B&V Energy Offshore

Responsibilities:
Develops detailed steel design engineering drawings using information from various sources which may include structural design calculations, conceptual designs, vendor drawings, catalog data, engineering sketches, reference drawings and input from other disciplines.
Assists in the development of design criteria for conceptual/assigned phases of a project requiring the application of basic engineering principles, material properties, and a familiarity with construction, installation, and maintenance procedures.
Preparation, Checking & Co-ordination of Design & Detailed Engineering drawings in Deepwater Projects for both Topside & Subsea Engineering
Plans and conducts FPSO field investigation trips as required for data gathering and verification
Prepares conceptual general layouts (GA) for expansion or modifications of existing facilities and develops construction drawings required from various Facility Change requests
Plan detailing, sectional detailing, typical detailing and detailed shop drawing for fabrication, equally ensure that detailing meets the local criteria and/or regulations and standard detail.

The Ideal Person

Qualification: HND/BSC/BENG in Civil/Structural Engineering
Years of experience: At least 10 years
Location: Onshore/Offshore.
