The Art Director is responsible for assisting in planning and executing of design art visuals advertising, books, Web sites and magazines. The role is will be responsible for providing support for Artists and designers in the main visual project director task report.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop intelligent and creative solutions that amplify our brands’ personalities and messaging
• Assist and collaborate with senior creative staff on design projects
• Remain current on industry trends and technology
• Ensure that ideas/designs are produced timely, on budget and with the degree of quality promised to the client
• Integrate with copywriters to create a one-two punch that delivers on more than a pretty picture
• Deliver internal presentations to senior creative personnel and clients
• Assist in generating concepts and scamps and developing of scamps to finished layout
• Constantly involved in photo-retouch and image development
• Interact with Copywriters to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned product(s)
• Presentation of Ideas or concept
• Assist in developing new business presentations and 3rd party/vendor creative production
• Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time
• Effective and proper filing system on the server in line with projects
• Work on  other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned

Skills and Specifications

• Be abreast with creative trends and innovations, especially digital media
• Able to work on multiple projects and multi task.
• Must possess a strong portfolio of imaginative work
• Strong visual concept skills and good basic drawing and design ability
• Must be well versed on Macintosh platform (OSX) and industry standard applications:, InDesign, Corel draw and Adobe Suite.
• Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions
• Be a team player
• Possess good presentation skills.
• Able to communicate creative solutions with confidence, ease and clarity
• Must have at least 3 years experience
