Legal Counsel at BRESSON AS Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide policies, guidance and procedures to ensure operational and regulatory compliance
• Facilitate legal awareness and compliance across the company operation including HR, EHS, etc.,
• Represent the company in court.
• Provide legal assistance to the company by drafting, negotiating and reviewing various types of commercial contracts and documents.
• Provide support and guidance with the creation of external communications related to legal matters
• Close cooperation with business managers with the purpose of early identification of legal risks and to facilitate/align best practices.
• Providing legal input into large commercial transactions, including participation in major bids, acquisitions. JVs, and agreements involving multiple regions and partners.
• Make a broader contribution at senior executive level and advise on strategic commercial and legal issues

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with 6-10 Years of commercial practice and extensive knowledge offederal and state corporate law.
• Oil & gas, power and infrastructure sector practice is highly desirable
• Large-scale project contracts experience with strong business acumen
• Highly professional wjth strong interpersonal skill
