Job Description

• Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process

Key Job Responsibilities

• To carry out welding jobs with oxy acetylene and arc welding machines.
• Construction of burglar proofs for buildings and equipment.
• To carry out fabrications of steel structures and other projects.
• To carry out repairs on broken and dented parts of plants and equipment.
• To assist and help other staff in doing the repair or assembling of machines and equipment.
• To carry out other assignments relevant to his job or outside the job as may be instructed by the superior.
• To maintain safe and healthy working conditions in the terminals.

Job Specifications

• Good OND/HND or Trade Certificate
• 5 - 7 years quality work experience
• Working Knowledge of port and shipping industry is of critical advantage
