Duties:
The Director of works is responsible to the Provost and:
(a) Takes charge of over-all control of the works and estate department
(b) Formulate strategies to achieve the institutional goals
(c) Advises the Provost on acquisition, operation and maintenance of the College assets
(d) Prepares works budget and exercise budgetary control
Qualification and Experience
Candidates should possess a good honour degree in a relevant Engineering/Environmental Sciences qualification from a recognized Institution of higher Learning plus at least 17 years post-qualification experience. Candidate must be fully registered with the relevant professional bodies.
