Senior Research Supervisor at IITA - International Institute of Tropical Agriculture

Responsibilities
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

• Assist in establishment of maize and legume crops regeneration and characterization;
• Assist in coordinating and supervising students’ field experiments and training activities;
• Assist in conducting field experiments including all aspects of data collection, management and analysis;
• Assist in supervising harvesting and postharvest handling of seeds crops;
• Assist in supervising general field activities;
• Perform any their duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification

• HND/B.Sc in Plant Science, Agronomy, Crop Production, General Agriculture or any other related fields with at least three (3) years’ relevant experience performing similar role.

• Be computer literate and have good sense of cleanliness and safety precaution.
• Be ready to work in a team and have a good sense of interpersonal relationship.
