Technical Officer - Lab. Logistics at Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi)

Job Responsibilities

• The Technical Officer-Lab. Logistics will be responsible for the development of AHNi in house capacity among the various departments, implementing agencies (IAs) and all tiers of government in all aspects of distribution and warehousing of Health commodities.
• S/he will provide technical support and leadership to Nigeria's efforts to strengthen the supply chain process of health commodities, using the LMIS, to reduce stock-outs, lower costs and eliminate wastage.

Minimum Requirement Standard

• MPH or MSc. in relevant field with at least 3-5 years post NYSC experience with at least 2 year experience in managing a PSM cycle, including ratioaal health commodities selection, forecasting/quantification, quality assurance spanning the PSM cycle, warehousing/storage, distribution, and LMIS.
• Or BSc. in Logistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry or relevant field with 5 to 7  years NYSC experience managing a PSM cycle, including rational Health commodities selection, forecasting /quantification, quality assurance spanning the PSM cycle, warehousing/storage, distribution, and LMlS.
• Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
