Procurement Officer, Services at MTN Nigeria

Job description    
• Execute category strategies for Local and Central Categories
• Make inputs to the category Strategy
• Advise user departments and suppliers of MTN’s standard commercial terms and conditions
• Provide daily status updates on user requests
• Make recommendations to user department on sourcing options and solutions
• Provide input for identification of opportunities ,achieve , and track procurement savings
• Execute  the procurement processes (RFI,RFP and RFQ) with respect to document preparation , issue, receipt and review
• Timely processing of sourcing related documents (RFQ, RFI, Supplier Correspondence, Purchasing Order etc.)
• Negotiations with suppliers regarding all terms related to the supply of goods and services for all items assigned for local categories
• Interface between Commercial Legal , User Departments and MTNN Suppliers to ensure timely preparation and execution of contracts or agreements and other relevant documents when necessary
• Liaise with Group Procurement for execution  of procurement processes for centrally managed categories
• Provide input to periodic reports

Job condition    
• Normal MTNN working conditions
• May be required to work extended hours 

Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in a well-structured organization
• 2 years should be in a similar role
• CIPS qualification  will be an added advantage
