TASKS
Within a team work context:
– Guarantee the accomplishment of the drilling and/or completion and/or work-over operations, in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimising costs and lead times
– Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of personnel, equipment and services
– Contribute to the return on Exploration & Production investments, through a continual search for the improving equipment, services and operational procedures

ACTIVITIES
- Prepare operations programs
- Produce the technical and operational synthesis
- Ensure follow-up of operations
- Draw up operating procedures
- Ensure cost follow-up
- Conduct studies to improve performance
- Conduct studies and projects for affiliates
- Prepare and conduct invitations to tender and service and equipment contracts
- Optimize activities of service providers and assess their performance
- Ensure the respect of safety rules and frames of reference
- Anticipate needs and organize supply
- Propose technological innovations
- Contribute to improving skills and know-how
- Participate in R&D projects
- Evaluate job holders
- Prepare budgets
- Participate in the training of job holders
- Implement operating structures
OBSERVATIONS ON ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
- Enhance Subsea equipment design and operational procedures to optimise safety, efficiency and installation time.
- Prepare Subsea Program and Guidelines in line with objectives and rules
- Develop and prepare Contingecy operations
- Involved in project interfaces (SPS, Completion engineering) as required
- Supervise the engineering/construction/repair/maintenance/testing works of contractors in line with Rules and interests, with full involvement in planning and follow up
- Provide Subsea Technical Support to Akpo Site Company Representative(s) as required
- Provide Subsea Technical Support to Offshore Subsea Supervisors as required
- Ensure that lesson learnt are logged and implemented.
- Responsible for review of all provided maintenance procedures for OML 130 (AKPO & EGINA).
- Provides ONNE technical engineering support , review and delivery of Periodic Maintenance Procedures for scheduled and preventative maintenance activities i.e. Demobilization, Mobilization, Periodic, maintenance and refurbishment, in storage.
- Ensures follow up with CPY team located in ONNE, the collation and issuance of maintenance activity progress reports
- Follow up of proposed CONTRACTOR project maintenance schedule, optimization of equipment and maintenance requirement in line with approved procedures and drilling schedules for delivery of ‘fit for purpose’ equipment.

Initial formal education: Engineer or equivalent
Professional experience (number of years): 5/6
Other (prior experience desireable): Subsea Field Engineer (On SITE)
