Goals
The Finance and Administration Specialist carries out tasks in Financial Accounting and Administration within given guidelines, to ensure accuracy and accountability of information.
Responsibilities
Financial Accounting:
• Accounts Receivable.
• Administration of Bank Guarantees (safe keeping, log-book, and renewal).
• Follow up on local collection of the company’s dues
Accounts Payable:
• Process incoming invoices from suppliers
• Scanning and settlement of invoices after approval.
• Rectify incorrect invoices and to take this up with appropriate companies/LH-departments where necessary
• Process of staff Reimbursement requests (receipt, scan approval, payment).
Administration:
• Compose and create internal and external correspondence
• Prepare presentations and analysis
• Assist with compliance of internal and external audits
• Trouble shooting to help resolve system problems
• Follow up on team mailbox inquires
General
• Support the department manager and the team with all issues
• Processing and handling of claims (passage and cargo).
• Ensure adherence to internal and external rules and regulations
• Provide information to internal & external customers
• Ensuring a seamless flow of information with KRK.
Other
Special projects and assignments as needed and directed
Technical Competences
• Bachelor of Science/Higher National Diploma in finance, accounting or other related field
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, preferable with international companies
• Good working knowledge of SAP and MS-Office products
• Familiarity with local financial regulations / generally accepted accounting principles
• Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written
