Interested Candidates should have the following:
• Degree in Geology or Geophysics, and target industry experience for 10-15 years.
• Experience with prospect generation and evaluation onshore and offshore.
• Strong fundamental earth science skill set, with expertise in 3D seismic interpretation.
• Computer literate in UNIX-based workstations and seismic interpretation software (Landmark preferred).
• Experience with PC-based applications including Microsoft Office Products.
• Expertise with 3D seismic interpretation and geophysical modeling inversion and rock physics techniques).
• Prior experience with seismic data processing and borehole seismic techniques (e.g. VSPs).
• Experience with AVO analysis, fluid substitution modeling, pore-pressure study analysis, contractor QC and interpretation.
• Experience with prospect risking Rose) and reserves calculation.
• Demonstrate the ability to clearly convey concepts and objectives verbally, in both presentations and in technical reports.
• Ability to Interact with multiple groups within the organization including, land, drilling, operations, accounting and strategic planning.
