Port Captain at JAM Recruitment

Location : Nigeria, Port Harcourt
Salary: US$ 10,000 per month

Our client operate a fleet of AHTS, and Cargo & Work Barges in Nigeria and have an immediate requirement to recruit an experienced Port Captain for their local operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Port Captain is assigned the Designated Person Ashore (DPA), develops, coordinates and ensures implementation of navigational policies and procedures. He provides additional support for Marine Departmental functions as directed by the General Manager, Marine Management.

Qualifications, Experience and Physical Requirements:

• Qualifications and seagoing experience on AHTS as a certified ship officer pursuant to the International Convention of STCW.
• Previous experience is essential in a similar shore based role.
