This position is based in Abuja. The incumbent is responsible for providing assistance with all field-based HR issues to national and international staff. This includes coordination and completion of all the recruitment processes, managing local national staff benefits, and ensuring smooth flow of administrative work throughout the project
Skills & Qualifications
· University degree in management, human resources, business administration, or related field
· 5 – 7 of general HR experience in a high volume, complex environment
· Certification in human resources (PHR, SPHR, GPHR) is considered a plus
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency of using Microsoft office software: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, outlook, etc is required
· Considerable knowledge of local employment law is a plus
· Experience of working in a conflict environment is a plus
· Written and spoken fluency in English is required
· Fluency in one or more of the local state languages in the north-eastern part of Nigeria is required for the field office candidate
