Assistant Manager, Trade Development (Modern Trade) at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

THE JOB

• Manage the company’s business in all national chain Modern Trade outlets in the territory.
• Ensure monthly sales volume targets are achieved in each store.
• Manage all merchandisers deployed in existing national chain outlets and ensure that they are working according to the agreed procedures and delivering the results expected.
• Ensure listed SKUs are available on-shelf at all times merchandised to the agreed planogrammes/shelf layouts.
• Negotiate and start business relationship with identified outlets.
• Ensure pricing stickers are available on shelf for all SKUs and that products are correctly priced.
• Manage orders for replenishment are placed in good time to avoid out of stocks.
• Ensure new business in targeted local supermarkets which do not currently buy directly from FMN meet our selection criteria.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess Good Negotiation Skills
• Have strong organisational and time management skills

QUALIFICATION

B.Sc/HND in any discipline

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG sales in Nigeria with a minimum of one year managing Modern Trade outlets in a similar role.
Good Understanding of Merchandising Techniques.
