Sales Truck Driver at An Agricutural Firm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the truck is clean daily and ready for activation.
• Drive truck To and Fro daily to activation location.
• Ensure safety of items and goods on the truck.
• Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Maneuver trucks into allocated space for activation.
• Report defect, accidents or violation to appropriate department.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (Size, weight, route,designations,parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid truck driving licence.
• Proven work experience as a truck driver.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Willing to submit to backgroundchecks and provide employment recommendation.
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulation.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situation (Traffic,weather conditions etc).
• Must have minimum of SSCE,able to write and speak basic English.
• Be in good physical condition.
