Job Summary

• Plan, coordinate and control manufacturing processes.
• Ensure product is produced efficiently and correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
• Coordinate factory personnel and material resources.

Job Description

• Develop production standards
• Regular review of production standards, machine and communicate report/ amendments to other factory personnel.
• Review/Improve production time and come up with time-saving measures. (preferably around the machines).
• Study operation sequences and develop factory personnel on reskilling.
• Record and document production problems.
• Train, supervise, and manage production line workers
• Diagnose origin of breakdowns, including human error, and troubleshoot the problem.
• Organise repairs and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Maintain files, such as maintenance records, bills of loading, or cost reports.
• Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, and personnel schedules (such as purchase, maintenance, or repair, and over time).
• Prepare and submit status report for production progress, material inventories, and materials used.
• Ensures that health and safety regulations are met
• Supervise and motivate the production team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a licence in engineering is a plus.
• 2+ years of proven experience in production/industrial engineering.
• Excellent use of all Microsoft package (especially Excel).
