    Office Manager

    The Office Manager will be responsible for providing and facilitating business support to the Nigeria market for offices based in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. The activities included relate to office management which includes facilities and estates matters, IT, finance, compliance, procurement and contract management, risk management, business continuity, health and safety, and HR Administrative duties.

    The Office Manager will be responsible to ensure smooth operation of the day-to-day business support functions in the national office, allowing market heads to focus on key market activities.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience required includes:

    •     Financial acumen and good practical experience of an accounting package, ideally QuickBooks or Sage. Able to handle month end close (including reconciliation); budgetary control and variance analysis. Though not essential the successful candidate would ideally be part qualified or a qualified accountant
    •     Supervisory responsibilities and experience desirable
    •     Excellent organisational skills
    •     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    •     Excellent knowledge of computer applications
    •     Good command of spoken and written English
    •     A highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual who is able to work on his/her own initiative with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to strict deadlines
    •     Good knowledge of IT applications
    •     Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
    •     Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
