Head of Finance at Workforce Group

Job Summary

• The Head of Finance position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Main Responsibilities

• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
• Approve or reject budgets
• Conduct risk management
• Evaluate and decide on investments
• Supervise a team of Accountants
• Allocate resources and manage cash flows
• Conduct profit and cost analyses
• Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
• Consult board members about funding options
• Recommend cost-reducing solutions

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree and Masters
• Professional qualification: ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA
• 10 years or more experience in similar firm and position.
