Crew Manning Assistant (Human Resource Assistant) at Kennedia Consulting

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the crew delivers the best possible service
• Handling all HR related tasks
• Assessing the suitability of the staff employed ensuring that they are within the guidelines of the vessel for rank, qualifications and medical certificates
• Ensure that each vessel is manned with qualified, medically fit and experienced seafarers;
• Resolve employment disputes with seafarers and their representatives and ensuring smooth completion of same;
• Keep aware of manning developments including the requirements of ILO, flag Administrative, seamen’s unions and employment associations;
• Oversee visa & documentation handling;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR in the Maritime industry
• Bsc in HR or a related role
• Good knowledge of vessel management in the Maritime industry

Pay: Industry standard
