Job Description

• The State Deputy Director is part of the state management team for SIDHAS in Akwa Ibom state.
• S/he reports to the State Director on the handling of project operations including budget, and overall program management in the State.
• S/he will support the State Director to provide program oversight, design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the interventions implemented by FHI360/AHNi and its partners in the assigned State.
• S/he is accountable for proper use of all resources entrusted to FHI 3601A1-lNl and its partners.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

• MBBS/MD/PHD or similar Degree with 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years' experience with HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation at the community or state level working with public and NGO sectors.
• Or MS/MA in social science, public health, Business Administration or related field, MPH preferred, and a minimum of 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 7 years' experience with HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation at the community or state level working with public and NGO sectors.
• Or BS/BA in social science, public health, Business Administration or related field, with a minimum of 9 - 11 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 7 years experience with HIV/AIDS program planning and implementation at the community or state level working with public and NGO sectors.
• Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems, international donor organizations, NGOs and CBOs is required.
• Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required.
