    Hotel Services Direct-Sale Executives

    Job Summary

    The Hotel Direct Sales Executive is responsible for contacting customers to offer hotel services and products. The Direct Sales Executives will work closely with the email marketing team to target customers by email, and then follow over the phone to ensure efficiency.

    Job Description

    • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers with a view to selling and upselling core hotel services, additional experiences, complimentary products and services within the hotel.
    • Achieve pre-defined periodic sales and service targets, thereby maximizing revenue and profit margin from all sales opportunities
    • Manage personal workload, ensuring all potential sales opportunities are followed up, and achieved.
    • Record outbound call history and customers response in detail for training and improvement purposes.
    • Ensure continual improvement of detailed knowledge of hotel products and services
    • Provide exceptional service, ensuring every customer is offered the right products.
    • Provide monthly reports detailing calls, conversion, revenue and hotel services sales
    • Provide monthly report which would include customer feedback and insights into the challenges, influences and enquiries relating to customer purchasing decision making process.
    • Assist customers with all post-sale booking issues related to hotel bookings
    • Contribute to improvements in sales and service processes
    • Work closely with sales and operations department, to resolve all customer service issues and queries brought forward.

    Candidates Required Skills, Personal Attributes & Experience

    • Females preferred
    • Minimum of an HND/B.Sc. from a reputable university.
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service related role; either as a customer service/direct sales agent within the following industries: Telecoms, Banking/Financial services, E-Commerce, or any service-oriented industry.
    • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other Nigerian languages is a plus.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Must possess maturity, confidence complemented by humility.
    • Must be Persistent as the role may require having to deal with difficult prospects and customers. The direct sales agent must remain driven and positive to transform leads into sales.
    • Must be a personable communicator who clearly and persuasively describes products and services to customers to encourage sales transactions

    • Calm and decisive under pressure
    • Must be highly organized, resourceful and have problem-solving abilities
