General Objection

• The Nigeria mission has been open in 2010 by ACF-US and will come under ACF-FR management from January 1st 2019. ACF Nigeria currently undertaking the following activities: Security and Livelihoods Nutrition, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. The mission consists of a team of 500+ national employees and about 50 international employees.
• The capital office is located in Abuja and there are three bases offices and four sub bases.

Principales Responsabilites
The position:

• Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director, you will be helping the Nigeria HR team to go through the SWAP with ACF-FR. More precisely, you will be in charge to:
• Finalizing the audit to analyse  discrepancies between current HR practices and ACF-FR expectations and guidelines
• Supporting HR team in coordination and on the bases though change management
• Proposing an action plan for the team (with short-term quick wins and longer term – 6 to 12 months action plan)
• Supporting HR HOD with Homere
• Training the team on the new Homere parameters
• Working on the role and responsibilities of HR team
• Sensitizing HR team to ACF-FR HR expectations and processes

Requirements

• The applicant: You hold a master in management, HR or equivalent, you have at least 2 years of experience as HR manager in NGOs - ACF-FR experience is mandatory. You have successful experiences as manager, capacity of motivate and mentor a team. Knowledges on Homere is mandatory as you must be able to train the team.
• You are recognized for your communication skills, and ability to adapt all type of interlocutors.
• Fluent English mandatory;

Conditions Specifiques / Remuneration

• Length of contract: 3.5 months- Starting January 2019
• Status: Long-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French legislation.
• Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 depending on relevant experience
• Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective or individual accommodation, medical insurance
• 25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year
